We would like to highly recommend Steven Barshinger and Grace Construction LLC. The custom deck Steve designed and built for our home during the early summer of 2010 is not only beautiful ~ it is well constructed and maintenance free as well.

The deck, 14′ by 32′, is made of Trex composite decking with white Endurance vinyl railing. Invariably, there always seems to be challenges with a project like this and Steve exceeded our expectations in meeting these challenges by finding more than satisfactory solutions. Any questions we had were addressed immediately by Steve. He would often check in at the end of the day to update us on the overall progress of the deck and to discuss suggestions for how to improve the overall look. One such suggestion made by Steve was the addition of a perimeter border made of the same Trex material to finish the edges of the deck. The border is a beautiful touch and gives the deck a professional custom look.

Included in this project was the demolition and clean-up of existing concrete. Throughout the several weeks Steve worked on the demolition and deck, he proved to be an extremely clean contractor. He cleaned up every day and left the work site as debris-free as possible. Steve promptly began work each day at the time specified he would. We find Steve and Grace Construction not only to be professionals, but also an individual of Integrity.

Steve would let us know when he would be starting later because of inspection appointments from other jobs. Even our neighbors were impressed with his work and often commented on his diligence and professionalism. We would not hesitate to hire Steve again and have already recommended him to several close friends and family members.

In November 2014 we asked Steven Barshinger, Grace Construction LLC, to upgrade our basement We didn’t want a complete refinish and needed assistance in deciding how to proceed. Steven was a great help. He had a good vision of the finished product and explained it in a way we understood. From the first day Steven was in our home we found him to be reliable and of high integrity. He was on time every day and used his time well. His attention to detail was evident from the beginning; he made numerous suggestions that were useful and incorporated. At the end of each day he cleaned up the work area and gave us an update on what he had done and what he planned to do the next day.

We found him easy to work with in all aspects, he respected our home and his pricing was reasonable. The end product was better than we had envisioned. We are pleased with Steven’s work and recommend him to anyone seeking to upgrade their basement or similar projects.

Grace Construction LLC finished off my basement in my recently purchased new home in Mount Joy. I was pleased with the quality of work that was done and the fact that each day I was able to view the progress without worrying about tripping over tools or walking through sawdust because they took the time to clean up after themselves each day. I liked the fact that when I was provided with an estimate for the work that it was very detailed and there were no hidden costs. Steven took the time to communicate throughout the project the progress and to talk through anything that came up during the project that needed to be addressed. He would talk to me prior to just moving forward with something that wasn’t part of the original estimate to get my okay to move forward. I have had many people compliment me on the quality of work that was done in my basement. It truly felt like it was part of the original construction of the home and wasn’t an afterthought.
